# ContactOut: Count People

> Free audience sizing. Returns only the total number of matching profiles, with no per-profile charge. Use this before contactout_search_people.

## Run this action

Use the TypeScript SDK for one call. Use `ctx.tools.execute(...)` inside a Play for durable calls, scheduled calls, or CSV processing.
